(Dr) Lopen Karma Phuntsho

(Dr) Lopen Karma Phuntsho is a Buddhist thought leader. He finished his full monastic training before he joined Balliol College, Oxford to read Sanskrit and Classical Indian religions and pursued a D.Phil. in Oriental Studies. He worked as a researcher at Cambridge University, CNRS, Paris and University of Virginia. He speaks extensively on Bhutan’s history, religion, culture and development and is the author of numerous books and articles. He serves a pro bono President of the Loden Foundation and leads its educational, cultural and entrepreneurship programmes.
